  Students’ comments

"First of all, the knowledge of foreign language is a great advantage. Secondly, understanding of the existence of different cultures and different value systems make you be more critical of the things you do. Also, you start appreciating good things about your own culture even more." Milos Nesovic

"I will be able to use the knowledge and abilities gained during this program in my future job as someone who is going to use English daily in his career, this experience will give me the advantage in job interviews and applications." Nenad Jovanovic

"This was a life experience for me I would newer change it for anything in the world. I got a lot of knowledge and experience but what was way more important for me is that I met some great people." Milena Raicevic

"I made myself better in every way during the stay in the US and I believe that through advancing myself I will have the chance to contribute to my society wherever I get the chance to do so." Milos Stanic

"Try to get as much as you can from this program - this is a great and very unique opportunity! Don't miss any chance that occurs, 'cause it won't be repeated!" Aleksandar Stevanovic

“The experience [internship at Merrill Lynch] also allowed me to take personal responsibility for the project, speak a foreign language for professional purposes, and to develop the confidence needed to succeed...”, Sonja Jovicic

“I can feel the effect the year had on me. For example, I applied for the student parliament, because I have learned that if I want something to be changed, I have to fight for it, not just wait for someone else to try to make something I want.” Bojan Trobok

“I was pleasantly surprised to see people of all ages participate in community work. I thought this was really generous of them…not only does it help those in need, but it also gives participants the sense of self-satisfaction that they made a difference. “ Visnja Brnjas

“The experience that I’ve gained here made me realize the importance of self-actualization, made me feel more self-confident, and taught me how to trust my instincts and have faith in my knowledge and skills.” Dragana Ristic
