Student at Illinois State University studying journalism and linguistics: "Thank you very much for doing all these things. The University I am in (ISU) is a dream come true for me. I have never expected so warm welcome - from professors, non-teaching staff, Americans and host families. We have a very nice accommodation and food. Nothing more I couldn't ask.
When my classes began, in the very beginning I've realized that this the way of teaching I prefer. I have very informal relationship with my teachers, but in a same way, we respect each other. They are always "here" for us. It takes only a few hours for them to reply to our emails, and a student can always ASK everything. Totally different than teaching system in Serbia. I think I am very well accepted here and the only things that I miss here are my family and friends. But we communicate all the time - Skype is a miracle. I brought a few Serbian souvenirs to share with my American friends, and not so authentic Serbian product - TURKISH COFFEE:) Hope that you're going to continue with this program next year too, cause this experience is priceless."

Student at the University of Missouri at Columbia studying history: "The accommodation on the campus is really nice, we have everything we need, and the people are very friendly and open, as there are many international students on our floor. Campus is simply awesome! Beautiful surroundings, nice buildings, and a sports centre which is allegedly the best one in the whole US.
We are going everyday to either a swimming pool, gym, sauna or Turkish bath. I use every possible chance to present my country to the other nations. For that reason, I brought a couple of Serbian flags, photos from Serbia, promotional T-shirts and similar. More impressions will follow soon, when the school year officially starts!"

Student at Elizabethtown College in PA studying English Language and Literature:
"Elizabethtown is a small town nearby the capital of PA, Harrisburg. Campus offers a lot of opportunities for extra activities, fun, community services and of course studying. Everyway you look, you will find green surfaces, a lot of trees and flowers which adds to the impression of calm and nice place.
During our first week here, international peer ambassadors were there for us and very helpful, we would feel lost without them. So far, we didn't miss our home, because even though the lectures haven't started yet, we had a lot of orientations concerning living and studying on our campus.

I'm really excited about my staying here and I'm sure it will be a great experience!"
